These muffins had cauliflower hidden in the batter. Here is how it works:
First, you steam up some cauliflower; then you puree it in a blender::

Whole Grain Heaven?
As you all know, I was somewhat concerned about a possible wheat shortage, so when some friends from church got together a bulk order for a good deal on wheat, I ordered 500 pounds!
My wheat arrived today, and has filled my pantry so full that I could barely step inside to take this picture:
But there is one teensy [...]

Fall in LOVE with Housework
Yesterday I decided it is time to fall in love with housework! While enjoying my day off, I went to the salon for a hair cut where my stylist and I chatted about the drudgery of housework. In the midst of our whine-fest, however, (which I was about to win because I have four children and she [...]

I Need Healthy Muffin Recipes!
My children aren’t easily fooled. When I switched over to whole-wheat flour a few years ago they all revolted. Entire pans of muffins, cookies, and cakes turned moldy as my children said, “No thanks; I prefer to starve.” I even tried buying the soft white wheat which, though not as healthy, is still much healthier [...]

I'm just thrilled with the way this series of books ended! Call me old-fashioned, but pro-family values and pro-abstinence (before marriage) in teen fiction always make for a pleasant and delightful read!
