Every mom needs a vacation every now and then. If–while I am preparing to leave–my husband balks at having to take the reins, I remind him that my day away is costing him less than the extensive medications/psychotherapy/shopping binges that would result from an overworked mamma!
No advice in my posts today because it is Mom’s day off!
My husband took a vacation day from work so I could run errands and get my Christmas shopping done; I am doing some babysitting for a friend who is a working mom, so wanted to take a day off before I add another child to my brood of four!

I'm just thrilled with the way this series of books ended! Call me old-fashioned, but pro-family values and pro-abstinence (before marriage) in teen fiction always make for a pleasant and delightful read!

Hope you enjoyed your day off! I agree with the rational of it costing less than other types of therapy.

Woohoo! What a great hubby! Hope you got everything done that you wanted to accomplish

I’m sure you are out getting your favorite sister a ton of funky new jewelry ’cause you know how badly she needs it, right? Have a fun day, sis, and don’t forget to take yourself somewhere nice for lunch.
